Kambiz Homayounfar has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry, holding numerous patents in telecommunications and signal processing. He has successfully founded companies across North America, the UK, and Asia, working with major global corporations.

In 2024, he co-founded Nippotica, following the establishment of Algotechniq in Japan in 2022. From 2021 to 2023, he chaired the Artificial Intelligence Working Group at the Swiss Association for Standardization (SNV).

Between 2007 and 2022, he was actively involved in M&A transactions for technology companies in Europe and the Middle East. Earlier, he founded and later sold Phybit Inc., a semiconductor company in Singapore (2007-2011), and Genista Corp., a media streaming company in Japan (2000-2007). He also established Algorex Inc., a U.S.-based wireless software company, which was later acquired (1996-1999). Before becoming an entrepreneur, he worked as an engineer and business developer in Japan and the United States from 1984 to 1996.

Kambiz has a BSc in Computational Physics from Cardiff University School of Engineering and studied MSc courses in Electrical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
